Hisense Gaming TV Ace 2023 65E55H presented with a 240 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support

Hisense has unveiled the 65E55H, a 65-inch smart TV marketed under its Gaming TV Ace 2023 series. Currently, Hisense has only revealed the 65E55H in China. While there are many 65-inch and 4K smart TVs, the 65E55H is one of the few that supports above a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Specifically, Hisense has included a 240 Hz panel compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium and Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) to minimise motion blur. Hisense claims that the TV offers Delta E deviations of 1.5 too, along with 178° viewing angles.

Moreover, the TV features three HDMI ports, with one rated for HDMI 2.1's full 48 Gbps bandwidth. Accordingly, the 65E55H supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology and is compatible with current generation games consoles and graphics cards. Unfortunately, the TV lacks any DisplayPort connections. Incidentally, the 65E55H relies on 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 SoC.

The 65E55H retails for CNY 5,499 (~US$865) on JD.com. It is unclear whether the company plans to launch the TV elsewhere. VideoCardz suggests that this could take some time though because Hisense has designed its TV OS with the Chinese market in mind.
